Below are some common questions we get from parents and carers.

The nursery is open from 7:30am until 6:00pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and Christmas week.

Session times are as follows:

  • Full day – 7:30am to 6:00pm
  • Morning session – 7:30am to 1:00pm
  • Afternoon session – 1:00pm to 6:00pm

The above sessions include snacks and meals relevant to the times your child is in nursery.

Your child’s place is booked with a £50.00 non-refundable deposit to be paid at the time of booking. This covers four settling in sessions and administration.

Fees are to be paid monthly of the 1st of each month by standing order. Charges will be incurred for late payment.

Bank holidays are charged as normal sessions, however, we do give a one week’s holiday at 50% of fees (four weeks’ notice is required) and there is no charge at Christmas when the nursery is closed.

Four weeks’ notice in writing is required to make any changes to your child’s booking or to give notice to cancel your place.

If your child is collected late, a late charge will be added to your bill. This is £10.00 for 6:00pm to 6:15 pm and £5.00 for every 15 minutes thereafter. Please remember we have to comply with child to staff ratios at all times.

Fees are typically reviewed every September

A 5% discount will be given to siblings who attend more than three full days together OR a 5% discount will be given to a child accessing a full time place.

We provide quality education as laid out in the Early Year Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum, tailored to individual children’s needs and covering a diverse range of activities.

We encourage an atmosphere of respect, self-esteem and acceptance of others through the modelling of such behaviours ourselves as staff and through the guidance we provide the children. We aim to encourage parental involvement within the nursery through open days, parents evenings, family fun days, Christmas carols etc.

If you have any other questions, we are happy to answer them for you.
